11+ years of delivering production apps for cities, transport, payments and culture. I build apps from scratch, and I'm just as quick to take over and grow existing codebases in all native technologies: Java, Kotlin, UIKit and SwiftUI. Every application in my portfolio, except ThenX, was written from scratch by me and is maintained by me to this day.
iOS: Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit. Android: Java, Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Hilt. Fully native on both platforms, no cross-platform frameworks.
I also develop software for Android-based terminals, with the deepest experience on Verifone and PAX devices. Mifare DESFire cards, EMV card tokenization as a carrier for tickets and other identifiers, offline QR codes as ticket carriers without network access, and POK customer-service points integrated via WebSocket with the POK web panel.
Deep understanding of backend and API communication. I write core backend modules in PHP and other languages, e.g. a Nominatim-based geocoding service (names to coordinates and back). Plus token management, data encryption, iOS Keychain and Android KeyStore.
Experienced in publishing dozens of apps across three platforms: App Store, Google Play and Huawei AppGallery. I run the whole process myself: certificates, store listings, reviews, staged rollouts and updates.
I can design the app's UI/UX myself, but it works best when the client has a ready design, e.g. in Figma, and knows exactly what final result they expect. Then I know precisely how much time I need, and I deliver on time.
Both platforms natively, with equal attention. I work equally well fully independently and in very large teams.
I can connect an app to any backend: REST and GraphQL APIs, full CRUD operations, WebSocket. I know the different authentication schemes: Bearer tokens (OAuth 2.0, JWT), API keys, Basic Auth and sessions with token refresh. When needed, I write backend modules myself in PHP and PostgreSQL.
Intuitive, user-friendly interfaces refined directly with the client, from mockup to store screenshots.
I test every release on real devices: a range of Android and iOS phones as well as terminals. Before publishing I run beta tests (TestFlight, Google Play internal testing), and after release I monitor crash reports and react quickly to feedback.
